Now, we’ve posted plenty of info with our gold guide and our 1k speed run, but there’s always room for more. We’re putting up a gold tips page on Facebook. Eventually we’ll have a lot of useful gold gathering info there, but as of this moment it’s just getting started.

If you have a Facebook account, and you “like” the page, then you’ll receive updates on your own FB news feed. You’ll also be able to comment on the gold page and add your own tips, if you’re so inclined.

Pretty soon we’ll be offering a free gold guide to anyone who’s liked the page.

Patch 4.2 Firelands Dailies/Marks of the World Trees Rewards, MMO …

In my previous post I listed the updated Valor Points Rewards, today we’ll take a look at what we can get from the daily quests area of the Firelands. The vendors can be accessed after completing the very long questlines in the Molten Front, see the Mark of the World Tree article on Wowpedia (the new daily quests currency, just like the Champion’s Seals of the Argent Tournament.

Basically, after unlocking all phases of the Firelands Dailies you will eventually gain access to 3 NPCs. You will need 125 more Marks of the World Tree to unlock each NPC and finally gain access to his/her inventory!

• Filling the Moonwell – Secure sacred water for the moonwell from Matoclaw at the Sanctuary of Malorne in Mount Hyjal. (Obtain 125 Marks of the World Tree.)
• Calling the Ancients – Secure the aid of the Ancients from Elderlimb at the Sanctuary of Malorne in Mount Hyjal. (Obtain 125 Marks of the World Tree.)
• Additional Armaments – Seek out Matoclaw at the Sanctuary of Malorne in Mount Hyjal. (Obtain 125 Marks of the World Tree.)

The good news is that after you’ve unlocked the quests, you won’t need marks anymore and items sold from the merchants are paid with gold.

The 2011 World of Warcraft Arena Pass is split into several different phases. To help you gain a more detailed understanding of how this year’s Arena Pass will unfold, here’s an explanation of the different phases.

Registration Phase

May 3 – June 20

During this period you can register for the North American 2011 Arena Pass Service. Registration will close after June 20.

Practice Phase

May 10 – June 7

During this period you will be able to enter the Arena Pass Realm and practice your setup. This is the period where you’re encouraged to explore different team compositions and to hone your teamwork. Matches played during this phase will not count towards the pet and title prizes.

Ranked Ladder Phase 1

June 7 – June 21

All Arena Rating points will be set to zero when this phase begins. Ranked 3v3 matches played during this phase will count towards the pet and title prizes. If a player switches from one Arena Team to another, the Arena Team that the player joins will have their Arena Rating reduced by 150 points.

Ranked Ladder Phase 2

June 21 – July 4

Ranked 3v3 matches played during this phase will count towards the pet and title prizes. During the Ranked Ladder Phase 2 of the Arena Pass Service, players cannot switch Arena Teams.

Prize Eligibility

Ranked 3v3 matches that count toward the pet and title prizes will start on June 7, 2011 (once the weekly maintenance has ended), and end July 4, 2011.

Please note that phases begin once weekly maintenance has finished on the dates specified, and end at the beginning of maintenance on the dates specified (unless stated otherwise).

Tickets go on sale Saturday, May 28 at 10 a.m. PT
Only 200 are available, so good luck!

As for the price… If you have to ask, you probably can’t afford it.

In this case the addon makes the business of gold acquisition much easier. So far it’s for high level gatherables and crafts only, but that’s going to change very soon, according to the guys in charge. The plans are for it to become something that even low levels can use for great profit.
