Overall I really like the Worgen starting area. The dark and gloomy atmosphere really works well for the Worgen story. Speaking of the story, it’s actually pretty interesting. Most of the time while questing I just end up skipping all the story and not reading any of the quest info. However this time I slowed down to read *most* of the quests. Not every single quest is full of fun action, however a large portion of them are kinda fun. It made leveling a breeze and not a chore.

While on the subject of breezes, no, that noise you hear all the time while playing your Worgen is not the wind, or a nearby monster. It also does not mean that your sound card is broken. Nope, what’s making that horrible sound is your Worgen! Sniffling (snuffling?)! It seems the Worgen idle sounds are a bit broken at the moment. So don’t worry, they will be fixed before the release. If you really can’t take the noise, then try changing into your human form while not fighting, or if you are a druid, just stay in cat form.

From playing my druid up to level 14, I can safely say that druids are very fun in Cataclysm. Getting cat form at level 8 makes the low levels so much more fun. The other thing that I like a lot about Cataclysm in general is that you never (hardly ever) feel like you have to waste a talent point on some worthless talent in order to get to the next tier talents. Every talent point you spend feels like a direct and positive buff to your character (even if it is sometimes a small buff.)

I also really like getting over 4k HP at level 14 from a level 80ish priest stam buff. (Probably a bug, but I hope they keep it.)

Well, that’s all for now, but I’ll be back later with more.

Our Druid Leveling Guide has been updated to reflect current solid leveling builds.

No, we’re not dead, but while we’ve been out the Mighty Bliz had been patching away and breaking all of our builds and guides. Sigh. Ok, repairs will be made at a far more rapid pace than they have been for awhile.

First off is our Druid Leveling Guide. The builds now work and the page will be expanded very soon.

More coming real soon now
